Dr. Angel Campos is a distinguished Belizean medical doctor with extensive experience in both clinical practice and public service. He earned his medical degree from the University of San Carlos of Guatemala (USAC) and holds a Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration from the Universidad Tecnológico Mexiquense. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded a Doctoratum Honorem by the Conferencia Internacional de la Comunidad Universitaria.
Dr. Campos further enhanced his expertise with a diploma in Mental Health from the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and a diploma in Ultrasonography from the University of Querétaro, Mexico.
A former Minister of State in both the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Human Development, Social Transformation, and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Campos is deeply committed to community health. Today, he continues to serve rural communities through his private medical practice, focusing on the very regions he once represented in the House of Representatives.
